Will my knife rust?

Any piece of steel not properly maintained will rust.

However!... Our knives are completely powder coated to avoid this. Handles are per-designed and shaped to each blade then installed. The only exposed steel will be the finished cutting edge. For this we recommend a light coat of oil. I personally use gun oil and CLP, but any natural oil will work such as mineral or coconut oil. Yes... WD-40 is just fine.

How should i clean my knife?

Accepted Answer

Just warm soapy water works just fine. If you get debris, sand or dirt in the grooves of the handle you can simply use a sponge or a toothbrush to clean it. Do not forget to oil your blade after it dries. Also as far as the handle goes G10 is not very porous so it will not soak up most materials but it can look a bit "dry" or "faded" after you clean it. Just wipe it down with a simple oil, and it will bring it right back to life.

How do I re-sharpen my knife?

Accepted Answer

Sharpen your blade with any typical system (wet stones, diamonds, ceramics, hand held draw-through, whatever) Just be sure to be consistent with the angle of approach. There are a million tutorial videos on YouTube. Our finished edge typically comes out to be around 22 - 25 degrees.
